Corporate Cookie Gifts: The Client Gift People Actually Want

Corporate Gifting, Minus the Boring: Why Smart Companies Send Cookies

Let's talk about the corporate gift basket.

You know the one. The cellophane-wrapped tower of crackers, summer sausage, and jam nobody asked for. It arrives at the office, gets opened out of politeness, and the cheese straws sit in the break room until someone finally throws them away in February.

Companies spend real money on these every year — and almost nobody remembers receiving one.

Here's what people remember: cookies showing up at the office.

We know because we've watched it happen. We've done office drops like our Klaviyo one — hundreds of individually wrapped cookies, every single one sealed with a Klaviyo × Billy Bakes co-branded sticker. The table didn't stay full for long. That's what a corporate order looks like when it's done right.

Why cookies beat every other corporate gift

1. Nobody has to fake it. A $40 candle gets a polite "oh, lovely." A warm chocolate chip cookie gets an actual human reaction. Food is the only corporate gift with a 100% open rate.

2. No sizing, no taste-guessing, no returns. Gift cards feel impersonal. Apparel means guessing sizes. Cookies mean you hand someone something delicious and you're done. The decision fatigue is zero.

3. They're built for sharing — which means built for branding. A cookie on someone's desk gets noticed by the whole row. A cookie in the break room starts conversations. Every cookie is a tiny billboard for whoever sent it, and unlike a billboard, people are happy to see it.

4. They work for every occasion on the corporate calendar. Client thank-yous. Employee appreciation. Holiday gifts. Onboarding boxes. Conference swag that doesn't end up in a hotel trash can. Product launches. "Sorry our software was down on Tuesday." Cookies cover all of it.

What Billy Bakes does for corporate orders

We're a small-batch bakery in Hudson, Massachusetts, and corporate orders are one of our favorite things to bake for. Here's the deal:

$3 per cookie, bulk pricing. Every cookie is our full-size, quarter-pound gourmet cookie — the same ones we ship to customers nationwide. Eight signature flavors: Chocolate Chip, S'Mores, Red Velvet, Snickerdoodle, Dulce de Leche, White Chocolate M&M, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip, and Mahogany.

Individually wrapped. Every cookie comes sealed in its own bag. That matters for offices — hygienic, easy to distribute, easy to drop on 200 desks, easy to toss in a swag bag.

Your logo on every one. This is the part companies love. We do co-branded stickers — your logo alongside ours — sealed right on the wrapper. Your brand, on something people are genuinely excited to receive. (The Klaviyo office drop is the proof of concept, and the photos are on our bulk orders page.)

Flexible quantities. Need 50 for a team lunch? 500 for a conference? 1,000 for holiday client gifts? We scale. Tell us the headcount and the date, and we'll tell you exactly what you need.

Real food, real ingredients. Our cookies contain wheat, dairy, and eggs — and we say that up front on every page, because corporate orders mean feeding other people's teams and we take that seriously. We also bake a Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip, so mixed-dietary offices are covered.

When to order (a.k.a. don't be the December 20th email)

Corporate cookie orders take planning — not much, but some. Here's our honest guidance:

  • Holiday client gifts (December): Talk to us by early November. December gets busy and bulk slots fill first.
  • Events and conferences: 3–4 weeks out is comfortable. We can sometimes move faster — ask.
  • Employee appreciation / onboarding: 2 weeks is plenty for most quantities.
  • "We need 300 cookies by Friday": Email us anyway. We've pulled off miracles. No promises, but we've pulled off miracles.

The pattern: the earlier you reach out, the more we can do — custom sticker designs, specific flavor mixes, delivery timing.

What it costs (real numbers)

  • Bulk cookies: $3 per cookie, individually wrapped, flavor mix of your choice.
  • Co-branded stickers: quoted with your order — depends on quantity and design.
  • Delivery: local delivery around the Boston/MetroWest area can be arranged. Shipping elsewhere? Let's talk — our cookies ship nationwide every Monday for DTC orders, and we can work out corporate logistics the same way.

For reference: 100 cookies for a client holiday gift run is $300. That's less than one decent gift basket order — and it feeds 100 people instead of decorating one break room.

How to start

Email dan@billybakes.shop with three things: how many cookies, when you need them, and where they're going. We'll reply with a quote, a timeline, and — if you want them — a co-branded sticker mockup.

Or start here: Bulk & Corporate Orders.

Your clients will forget the gift basket. They won't forget the cookies.

Peace, Love, Cookies.
